Subject: SB 162 Proponent Testimony

Senator Antonio and O’Brien’s bill, SB 162, which would eliminate the statute of limitations for rape and remove spousal exemptions for rape is receiving proponent testimony next Wednesday, February 19th at 9:15AM in Senate Judiciary Committee in the North Hearing Room of the Statehouse. Attached is the legislation text and analysis.

Senator Antonio would be grateful if you could provide proponent testimony to the committee. Please let me know if you or someone from your organization would be able to testify in person and if you have any questions.
